The Co-Op Bank of Mehsana was established as "The Mehsana Co-op. Credit Society Ltd." on 17/06/1992, registered under Gujarat State Co-op. Society Act-1961 (Register No. NDS/S/26704). It was subsequently converted into a co-operative bank named "The Co-operative Bank of Mehsana Ltd." on 02/04/1998, under RBI Licence No. RBI (UBD/Guj.1495 P, Dt. 20/10/1997).
The bank started operations with one branch at Mehsana and now provides better customer service through its Core Banking System (CBS) available at all 8 branches. The bank's area of operation covers Mehsana, Patan, Banaskantha, Gandhinagar, and Ahmedabad districts.
