  • A Savings Bank Account is designed to encourage individuals to save money for their future financial needs. The account’s main objective is to allow people to save small or large amounts of money periodically. 
  • You can open a “Savings Bank Account” with Mehsana Bank and enjoy a range of services and facilities without any additional charges.

 

Eligibility

  • Saving bank account interest will be calculated on the daily balances maintained in the account.
  • The account can also be opened in the name of a minor, to be operated by the natural guardian.
  • The account can be opened by a club, a society, or an association.
  • Savings account can be opened in the name of an individual or in the name of two or more individuals. In the case of a Joint account, it can be operated jointly or severally, with either or survivor or former survivor clause.
  • Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) to be maintained a minimum of Rs.1,000/- to avail a host of benefits under the preferred category.
  • Most of the services being offered free of cost.

Who can open a Savings Bank Account

  • Individual – Single / Joint account.
  • Minor – Operated by a natural guardian/ appointed by the court.

  • Housing Co-operative Society.
  • Charitable Religious Institution.
